Riveting and Self Clinching
Self-Clinching fasteners and Rivet Nuts, when pressed into a hosting metal - displace the material around the mounting hole, causing a "cold flow" into a specially designed recess accepting the component.
The self-clinching action is typically achieved by applying force, with most types utilizing a clinch-ring, knurl, ribs, or hex head to prevent moving after installation.
We carry Strux nuts, pierce nuts, self-clinching studs, stand-offs, blind rivets, and rivet nuts.
