Plan-E-Tech, sister company of Buckeye Fasteners, specializing in nail and bolt manufacturing industries, has recently made a major investment in new equipment and tooling in order to expand their product lines and options for customers. Buckeye Fasteners and Plan-E-Tech frequently partner together to ensure their clients receive the best products and service from development to implementation. The Drake GS: TE/TI LM 650 shown in the photo above is the center piece of this investment.

The investment allows Plan-E-Tech to offer a variety of new options for their customers. Plan-E-Tech can now produce special thread forms, not limited to but including ACME, straight and tampered pipe threads on cylindrical dies. Also available are thru-feed cylindrical dies, planetary dies for bolt manufacturing, and nail dies made from tungsten carbide material. The CNC controls and exacting mechanics of the machine produce dies of fine precision with shorter run times.
